What to Expect

Day 1: Marrakech to Imlil (Atlas Mountains)
Begin your journey with a scenic drive to the heart of the Atlas Mountains, where you’ll visit Imlil, a charming mountain village surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Meet the local Berber community, learn about their traditions, and enjoy a guided walk through terraced fields and walnut groves. End the day with a hearty Moroccan dinner and overnight stay in a cozy guesthouse overlooking the mountains.

Day 2: Imlil to Ouarzazate via Tizi n’Tichka Pass
After breakfast, depart for Ouarzazate, crossing the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass. Along the way, stop at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient architecture and cinematic history. Explore the kasbah and enjoy lunch in a nearby village. Continue to Ouarzazate, where you’ll visit the Taourirt Kasbah and enjoy a peaceful evening at your riad.

Day 3: Ouarzazate to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
Travel through the Draa Valley, famous for its lush palm groves and traditional villages. Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and reach your luxury desert camp. Savor a traditional dinner, enjoy live Berber music by the campfire, and spend the night under the starry desert sky.

Day 4: Merzouga to Dades Valley via Todra Gorge
Wake up early to witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, head to the Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon with towering cliffs. Enjoy a short hike along the river before continuing to the Dades Valley. Marvel at the stunning rock formations known as “Monkey Fingers” and relax at your riad with dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Dades Valley to Marrakech
